Shabby Chic Birthday Party

These cookies were for an adorable one year old's birthday party.  I wanted them to be just perfect for her.  She is so girly and pink and fru-fru, so I think they suited her well!

Baby Shower {boy}

How cute are these?  They kinda remind me of Dr. Seuss.

Mardi Gras!

Just some cookies to help celebrate Fat Tuesday!

Bachelorette Party/ Lingerie Party Cookies! What Bride Wouldn't love these 'tasteful' cookies?

Girl or Boy?

I made these cookies for a gender reveal party. Have I told you how much I love the idea of these parties??  And how much I love that people call and involve me in them?  It's like I get to know the secret BEFORE everyone else!  How exciting!  I loved the theme for this party - so clever and non traditional.

Happy Turkey Day!!! (nevermind that it's February...)

Gotta say - I ended up liking these bad boys more than any of my other holiday cookies this year!  I think it's because of all the turquoise....Thanksgiving can have turquoise right??

Monogram Cookies

Somebody's got a lot of catching up to do....

So that's what I'll be doing over the next few days.  I have several MONTHS of cookie pics to post, so I'm going to keep 'em coming.
How cute are these Volleyballs?  I ended up really enjoying this order :)

Ninjas!

These Ninjas have got to be one of my new favorite cookies.  So simple and so cute.  I made them for one of my best friend's little boy's birthday party at school.  He turned 4 this week - I can't believe I will have a 4 year old next year too!

Happy Birthday Kaiden!!  Love you!

I hope you had a great birthday!  I am still waiting on my bread and honey butter :)

Home Sweet Home (the quick version)

These are another version of my House Warming cookies.
I like the other ones better, but this was a last minute order so all I had on hand was squares and circles.
I thought they turned out pretty cute considering :)

Those Stars need faces Momma....

Aren't these the cutest?  My Grandmother Lust ordered these for her Garden Club.  They were visiting the Planetarium, and wanted some Space cookies.  Originally, I made the stars plain.  When Layton saw them, he did not approve.  He told me "those stars need faces momma!".  So faces they got!  They definitely look more juvenile this way, but since they were for his great grandmother I thought she would appreciate his input :)

Think Pink!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Order these to show you care - $15 per dozen

Christi hearts Adam

This order was for a wedding shower.  I had it for several weeks, and not once did I realize it was for 2 people I work with, named Christi and Adam, UNTIL the night I was making them.  Stupid stupid stupid.  Christi is like the cutest little thing ever too, so when I realized they might be for her I got all nervous and HAD to make them cute enough for her. Anyway, I think she liked them :)  I don't think Adam could have cared less either way...haha.  Congrats guys!

Go TEXAS!

I thought these were fitting to post today for the Texas vs OU game.
GO TEXAS!!
I really want to go to the Red River Rivalry one year.  I want to go to the Texas State Fair too Mom!
(she says I have been, but I don't remember).
Happy Saturday!!

I just made the cupcakes!

I made these cupcakes for my cousin's wedding this summer.  His new wife just posted pictures on Facebook from the wedding photographer, so I had to share!  Oh, I did not make the cakes - just the cupcakes!!  I love the ruffle look of the icing on these.

By the way, the cake was white chocolate raspberry and OMG it was to die for.  Probably one of the best wedding cakes I've ever tasted.  I can't even tell you for sure how many pieces I ate....

Lovin' Me Some Customer Pics

I LOVE getting pictures from happy customers!  This was from a baby shower I did this weekend.  For like the.cutest.pregnant.girl.ever. She took a picture to show me how well my cookies went with her baby bedding/decor.  She is just so cute - love her!
Thanks Lisa!!!

Happy Birthday Jenna-Wade!!!!!

Peacock cookies for my cousin, Jenna's birthday.
No particular reason why, she just likes peacocks, and owls too :)
AND they happened to be perfect, because when I went to Dallas Friday to celebrate her birthday, she was wearing a dress with peacock feathers on it - score!  We went to a Train & Maroon 5 Concert with several of her friends, oh my, we had too much fun...
Since I do not have a picture from the concert the other night, here is one of us as sweet little girls :)  I'm not sure how old we are here - but HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY JENNA-WADE!!!!!  Love you!

What did I do this weekend???

Well I made one of my favorite cupcakes EVER.  These were for a baby shower.  The shower was awesome I might add.  I love black & white with green.  I also made these cookie minis for the shower.  They are always a hit.  I think people like these because they don't feel guilty about eating them.  I mean they are about the size of a quarter.  Something that small can't count as calories....can it?  Not in my book.  So enjoy - you only live once!

Sunday I spent most of the day on these Butterfly Cookies.  There were a lot of these suckers, and they looked so pretty in quantities.  I just love color.  Have I mentioned that before?

I hope everyone had a great weekend and as good of a Monday as possible.  Busy week ahead - be watching for some new freakin' awesome cookies to be posted later this week!

I'm kind of in love with this COOKIE CAKE

And the best part? TONS of buttercream icing.
I like these colors together - A LOT.  The customer requested fall colors, so my latest Food Network Magazine cover was my inspiration.  They had this big bowl of broccoli cheese soup in an orange bowl on the cover (it looked so yum)....hmmm I'm pretty sure you can figure out how the colors came from that.

On a side note, their food is always so perfect, fresh looking, and they say it's EASY to make. Whatever. I would spend half the day at the grocery store just trying to find  the 'staple items' I was supposed to have on hand, and the rest of the day cooking.  I guarantee you it wouldn't look like it did in the magazine either. So, let's just say I'm WAY better at baking/decorating cookies than I am actually cooking.  I have a few things I'm good at cooking, and I tend to cook those over and over and over.  Blah.

Well that's enough of that!  Happy Birthday Adrianne! I hope you get to have your cake and eat it too.

Happy Monday

Oh Mickey you're so fine...

Maybe that's not appropriate for a 2 year old's birthday cookies, but the whole time I was decorating these, that stupid song was in my head.  Now it is again....awesome!!
Hey Mickey, Hey, Hey, Hey Mickey!

I hope YOU had an awesome Saturday!  I just got done having a DIY day.  This one was successful.  I actually finished a project. Yes, finished!!  Nothing makes me feel better than a sense of accomplishment :) Although, it is 2am, I'm still awake and I am supposed to be up for church in the morning.  Time management is not my strongest suit.  Goodnight!

Pink Lemonade Birthday

Such a cute theme.  These were fun.  I have another order for these next week - yay!
Little girls have such cute birthday party themes, among everything else.  Being a mom of a little boy, all we have is super heroes and dirt.  You get use to it though...haha.

Vintage Baby

Ahhhhhh I finally found a way I freakin' LOVE to do baby stroller cookies.  I thought these turned out so cute, and these are by far my favorite.  I love the vintage/retro look, and although they're for a baby, I don't think they look too 'babyish'.  Let me know what you think!
