These Ninjas have got to be one of my new favorite cookies. So simple and so cute. I made them for one of my best friend's little boy's birthday party at school. He turned 4 this week - I can't believe I will have a 4 year old next year too!

Happy Birthday Jenna-Wade!!!!!

Peacock cookies for my cousin, Jenna's birthday.

No particular reason why, she just likes peacocks, and owls too :)

AND they happened to be perfect, because when I went to Dallas Friday to celebrate her birthday, she was wearing a dress with peacock feathers on it - score! We went to a Train & Maroon 5 Concert with several of her friends, oh my, we had too much fun...

Since I do not have a picture from the concert the other night, here is one of us as sweet little girls :) I'm not sure how old we are here - but HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY JENNA-WADE!!!!! Love you!

I'm kind of in love with this COOKIE CAKE

And the best part? TONS of buttercream icing.

I like these colors together - A LOT. The customer requested fall colors, so my latest Food Network Magazine cover was my inspiration. They had this big bowl of broccoli cheese soup in an orange bowl on the cover (it looked so yum)....hmmm I'm pretty sure you can figure out how the colors came from that.

On a side note, their food is always so perfect, fresh looking, and they say it's EASY to make. Whatever. I would spend half the day at the grocery store just trying to find the 'staple items' I was supposed to have on hand, and the rest of the day cooking. I guarantee you it wouldn't look like it did in the magazine either. So, let's just say I'm WAY better at baking/decorating cookies than I am actually cooking. I have a few things I'm good at cooking, and I tend to cook those over and over and over. Blah.

Well that's enough of that! Happy Birthday Adrianne! I hope you get to have your cake and eat it too.

Oh Mickey you're so fine...

Maybe that's not appropriate for a 2 year old's birthday cookies, but the whole time I was decorating these, that stupid song was in my head. Now it is again....awesome!!

I hope YOU had an awesome Saturday! I just got done having a DIY day. This one was successful. I actually finished a project. Yes, finished!! Nothing makes me feel better than a sense of accomplishment :) Although, it is 2am, I'm still awake and I am supposed to be up for church in the morning. Time management is not my strongest suit. Happy Birthdayyyy

Cute Birthday cookie order for tomorrow. I just love all these colors together...I especially love the turquoise. I'm pretty sure I could paint anything turquoise and love it. My new obsession here lately is finding all sorts of cheap ~~junk~~ stuff, painting it awesome colors, or just doing anything fun to make it unique. Seriously - it's become an obsession. But I love it, so what the heck.

I made some pumpkin cookies tonight! Stay tuned for pictures. Oh, and since I was in the mood, I painted my finger nails orange too. I won't take a picture of that. I'm terrible at painting my nails. But I can ice a quadrillion cookies any day....it doesn't make sense does it? Which brings me to my point....
